Genarally A mount request come due to

1. Pre allocated /auto allocated media is not available
2. there is no media

IPC error IN Data Protector

I Strongly belive that i belongs O.U University for my Computer education.

simply u can call it as OPEN UNIVERSITY .
Now I got One More Problem in this play IPC ERROR generally this message stand for NETWORK Connectivity Problem.
This problem i faced when i am trying to add XP clinet to DP Server. I am able to authenticate & Ping but it is unable to Install CLIENT. what would be the problem. my be DNS Resolve. I am trying to resolve the issue adding host entry at Client side( XP system ). Hope It Can Resolve......
