HP Data Protector IDB purge using OMNIDBUTIL - PURGE Part 2

General Syntax :
omnidbutil -purge {-filenames [host_1 [host_n...]] [-force] | -sessions
[NumberOfDays] | -days [NumberOfDays] | -messages [NumberOf-Days] | -dcbf | -mpos | -daily}
omnidbutil -purge_failed_copies
omnidbutil -purge_stop


Related Error Messages:
[12:10907] Invalid format of detail catalog binary file.
61:4039] Following error occurred while storing detail catalog
information for device "XXXX_D01"
with loaded medium "abcdef:abcdef:adbcdef:abcedef: KKKLT04"
to Data Protector Internal Database:

There is no more space available in any of the Detail Catalog directories.

From this point on, all objects on this medium
will have logging switched to "No Log".



Command Usage :
omnidbutil -purge -filenames aa.bb.com -force

Other Usefull Commands:
omnirpt -report db_size : Helps in knowing IDB Size

TIP : Services need to up and make sure that no session is running @ PURGING.

We can work around the IDB syncranation that depends how your IDB effected.
if it is filenames we can purge expired filenames by omnidubtil -purge -filenames -force.
